The Malawian National Radio(MBC) just announced the sad news of the death of Malawian politician and activist Mary Kaphweleza Banda. She died this this morning in Lilongwe, Malawi. Though this is a time for family reunion, the Kaphweleza Banda family will sadly be mourning. Mrs Kaphweleza Banda who until her death was the spokesperson for the Malawian opposition party UDF, has served as a minister for Gender, and HIV/AIDS issues.Our sympathies go to her family.
